George Sdregas
Hello my name is George Sdregas! I am a freshman at The Ohio State University on a pre-law track, and a member of our powerlifting club. I have been powerlifting for 2 years now, and it has done wonders for my life. Before powerlifting, I really had no outlet to release the stress of everyday life. Today, my academic life is extremely rigorous, but nothing eases the stress more than being able to go to the gym and just lift some heavy weights. I am more than excited to see how the other ambassadors and I can take the joy and love we get from powerlifting and spread it locally and globally!
Miranda Branyiczky
Hey, I’m Miranda! I am just finishing up my first year in the Life Sciences program at Queens University in Ontario and excited to be working with Lift4Life. I did gymnastics growing up and have always loved to be active, but didn't begin lifting weights until I was about 15. Weightlifting is a unique form of exercise for me, in that I have found more satisfaction and gained more confidence from it than any of the activities I had done previously. I loved seeing the progress that I made and being able to quantify it, as I was able to add more plates or complete more reps. Going to the gym is one of my favourite ways to destress and have fun. I am excited to share the benefits that I have experienced from lifting weights with others.
Nikita Pasricha
Hi, I'm Nikita. Growing up playing many sports developed my passion for personal fitness and has instilled in me the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle. Taking up personal fitness in grade 7, I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself and ways to grow. Recently taking up strength training has allowed me to set goals and persevere towards these goals, which provides me with challenging yet extremely rewarding feelings. As a Lift4Life ambassador, I am excited to empower others with the benefits of strength training and use it as a platform to connect our world despite where you come from!
Kayleigh Koepke
Hi I’m Kayleigh, and I’m passionate about supporting Lift4Life because I want others to experience what a difference powerlifting can do in your life! When I started lifting I was so much more confident in myself and I want young girls and women especially to know their power and to hopefully gain that same confidence in themselves. I would also love to one day go to Zimbabwe and be with the people there! But for now I’m going to do whatever I can to support from here.
Danielle Clavelle
I've been powerlifting since 2015 and recently won Canadian Nationals which gained me my first spot to the World Championships this year in Norway. I work as a powerlifting coach at Calgary Barbell where I coach athletes of all levels to achieve their strength potential, I also work with Lift4Life as a coach. I have always been an athlete and I am passionate about the benefits of sport for people of all ages, especially youth. Sport and physical activity is unparalleled to the benefits and opportunities it can present people with to develop positive character traits and the quality values that sport does. Discipline, integrity, humility, patience, team work, fairplay, community and friendships are all formed through sport and everyone deserves the opportunity to be able to participate in sport. My mission as a coach and as a part of this team is to give everyone an opportunity to lift for life to feel strong, capable, and empowered by their body every single day, so that anything feels possible.
